June 4, 2011 was a little cooler than we'd expected, and the weather guessers had forecast rain, but that didn't dampen the enthusiasm of our supporters in the shooting community!  137 hardy souls came out and were treated to a very fun and smooth running event, with no rain!!  The event culminated with an awesome steak lunch served up by Grills on Wheels, a live auction, and a raffle with lots of great prizes, including 15 really nice firearms. 

The tournament was scored using the Lewis Class Scoring System.  Teams were grouped into 5 classes and trophies were awarded to the top 3 shooters in each class.  The high overall score was a 92, shot by David Welch with the Madorom Vineyards team. 

The event helped to raise money that the Bakersfield Breakfast Lions will use to help out needy people and causes  within our community.  As always, we really appreciate the people who come out and support our events, and especially our event sponsors.  This years sponsors were ARRC Technology, Raymond's Trophy & Awards, Inland Crop Dusters, Inc., Madorom Winery, Midstate Development Corp., San Joaquin Bit Service, NAPA Truck & Auto Parts, Golden Empire Fleet Service, Sparkle Uniform and Linen Service, Embroidery Solutions, Elektron Electric, Higgins Auto Parts, Greenlawn, and Grills on Wheels.
